Juanita Lee Risner passed away January 11, 2017. Juanita was born August 5, 1941 in Allegan, the daughter of Leon “Shorty” and Clara (Hopkins) Hoyt. A homemaker, Juanita enjoyed crocheting and she was an avid reader. On March 7, 1959, Juanita married the love of her life: Hancel “Hank” Risner and he preceded her in death on September 27, 1989. Juanita is survived by her children: Kenneth Risner, Gordon Risner, Robert Risner, Annette Marshall, and Brian Risner, seven grandchildren: Jason (Holli) Marshall, Samantha (Brody) Howland, Jennifer (Matt) Knight, Kenneth Risner, Kurt Risner, Hailee Risner and Tyler Risner, six great grandchildren: James Gruber, Jason Marshall, Hannah Gruber, Nolan Knight, Keegan Knight, and Noah Howland, brothers and sisters: Joyce (Bill) Striebel, Kathy (Jerry) Dekracker, Jerry (Dianne) Hoyt, James Hoyt, Beverly Holmes, Michael (Gail) Holmes, Patricia Hoyt, and Sandy Patrick, and several nieces and nephews. Juanita was also preceded in death by her parents and a son-in-law: Russell Marshall. Juanita’s family will receive friends Sunday, 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Williams-Gores Funeral Home where her funeral service will be conducted, Monday, January 16, 2017, 11:00 AM, Pastor Jeff Worden, officiating.
